Which Claude plan does a business need?
The plan matters less than the setup, but starting on the right one saves a migration later. Here is how we think about it, in general terms.
A personal paid plan
Suits a solo owner testing the water. You get the full assistant, but it sits on a personal account rather than a business one, with no shared workspace or admin controls.
A team plan
Suits a business that wants everyone on business email, shared projects and admin controls. Access can be managed per person, and work lives with the business rather than with individuals.
Enterprise
Suits larger organisations with security and compliance requirements, such as single sign-on, audit needs and formal procurement.

Anthropic updates its plans regularly, so check Anthropic's pricing page for current details. The plan is paid to Anthropic directly, not to a consultant.
