Private AI, running inside your business
Some businesses cannot put client data in a cloud AI, full stop. Law firms, finance, health, anyone under a strict data agreement. For them we build a private AI: a model running on hardware in your office, trained on nothing but your own material, with no data leaving the building.
What a private AI build includes
- •
Hardware sized for you. A dedicated machine in your office running the AI locally.
- •
A local model. An open model running on that machine, with no connection to an outside AI provider.
- •
Your documents, searchable. Your policies, templates, past work and knowledge, indexed so the AI can answer from them.
- •
The same working method. The brief, the workflows and the training are the same approach we use with Claude, applied to a local model.
- •
Handover and support. Your team learns to run it. We stay on as needed.
Private AI is most often a fit for professional services firms and health practices.
Private AI or Claude?
For most businesses, Claude's business plans (which do not train on your data) are the right call: more capable, faster to set up, and cheaper. Private AI is for the cases where the data cannot leave at all. We will tell you honestly which one you need. If cloud is fine, start with a Claude setup, and read which Claude plan a business needs.
FAQ
Common questions
Is a local model as good as Claude?
- No. Local models are less capable than Claude. They are good enough for document search, drafting and internal admin, and they are the only option when data cannot leave your premises.
What does the hardware cost?
- It depends on size. A single-office build runs on a compact desktop machine. We quote it after a conversation.
